Im sorry, but speed does kill, it slows reaction times. Or should I say there is less time to react and stop, Luke

I was in the fast lane of the motorway when there was a pile up in front of me, I ploughed into the back of a Daimler as I was going too fast to have any chance of stopping, I had my brother, sister and girlfriend in the car, I could have wiped them all out and the occupants of the other car, but amazingly no one was hurt!

Was the Daimler moving quick too? as that would have helped, Luke

Not sure? but I skidded for about 30 meters before hitting it, and it was damp conditions, The ford Cortina I was driving was about the size of a mini afterwards!!

Ok so Im an experienced driver driving at 100mph ( what? ) and concentrating very hard, and a boy walks out in front of me, there is no time to break or slow down or react so I kill him......speed does kill.

Even if you are experienced and concentrating what can you do if there is no time to react because you are traveling too fast?

You have much more chance of killing somebody if you are speeding...fact. You have less time to react, more energy involved ( increased chance of ending their lives/yours), less time to break etc etc, Luke
