dI tanks arrived

i ordered 2 tanks off ebay and today they arrived. the y seem to be made or covere dina weave type material. also when you screw the top off it is a long section of tubing which goes down to the bottom of the tank . how does this all work

2/3 or 3/4 fill it with resin.  screw the top back on and connect inlet and out (direction of flow) and hey presto
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

Yep, you've got the right things.
Do they have in or out marked on the top anywhere?

The tube is called the "riser tube" and it fits into the hole on the underside of the lid.  When you fill up the resin vessel, make sure you don't get any resin in this tube.  I sometimes put a bit of sticky tape over it (make sure you remove it after putting your resin in the vessel).
