Well what ever you order,tell them whether you use hoselock or john guest fittings and they`ll send you the appropriote fittings.

I think I will remove my strainer and see what the crack is then.  Today.  2 poles working and the battery was charged last night, by 11 0 clock the battery was dead and so I had to get me old trusty ladders out again.    this varistream seams to be such a ball ache at the moment.  When I get it sorted I'm sure it will be better than not having one.  I hope.

Mines set up with microbore and runs fine apart from an airlock that seems to get into the pipe from tank to pump via strainer. I sometimes have to run it at max to clear it out for a few seconds.

This is my problem-

Setting 1 is sometimes too much flow & setting 0 is sometimes too little. Sometimes they are both equaly perfect & just as i get a nice flow i lower the pole & it's all to cock. spent more time today running back to van to switch between 0 & 1. funny thing is- setting 0 (the lowest it will go) works fine with pole at 24ft but when i lower it to do bottoms the flow almost stops, which seems back to front to me- lower setting working better at height
I just wish a setting would be constant no matter what the height, i thought that was the idea behind "intelligent" flow control :

This is the good thing about the varistream with the dial,it`s a lot easier to adjust to the setting you need,just turn it on and off and it`s always the same flowrate.

To adjust pressure it's all done from the outside - far easier. Mine seemed to work very well without much adjustment. I run the flow on four and sometimes five if it's cold or a first clean. I think my pressure setting is on C. (microbore) seems more settled than my old one.

Just get the dial version there more accurate with the flowrate,set it and it will stay the same allday or for as long as you want.They had the new one brought out cos it looks pretty over the old one.

Dave do you mean there are settings for flow AND pressure?

Dont know what you mean dude, it goes from 0 to 9 to pump faster or slower, didn't get a manual with it.
