Hi
Pet stains are a nightmare.
I do heaps of rental property and come across everything known to man and beast. with letting properties it can be very difficult to know what the stain is in the 1st place?, how it has been treated? (1001 etc) how often the stain has been stained?
If the animal has revisited the site a few times it may of penetrated to the floor boards. If it is urine the alkalie may of reacted with the carpet, if vomit you will need to break down and remove the proteins but then the stomach acid may of caused a permanent mark?
The fact that it is now 2 weeks later suggests that it may of penertrated the backing and gone beyond?
had a job where the dog had been left in all day on a laminate flooring. I cleaned it loads of times but it had penetrated and reacted with the flooring, they were looking at a new floor!
Best of luck
Regards
Martin
