anyone else having a problem emailing Mr Vine about slating water fed pole window cleaning and giving an unfair view on it?

I had no problem emailing him but I wasn't particularly productive with my comments 

Actually I wrote
"I think radio hosts should be banned from airing their views on the radio as it causes too much noise pollution.
How you going to pay your mortgage now Jeremy?
Homeless?  Bankrupt?
How's it feel buddy?"

I know I'm a bit of a twit writing that but he's supposed to be in a responsible position in the media and deserves a bit of mild flak for misrepresenting the situation IMO.

The danger arises that in the event of a drought order regardless as to whether or not wfp is banned that customers will view having their windows wfp'ed as anti-social.

That's very true, and a point I've made in the past.

Even if it's ok'd, people will not be impressed when you're using water like it's going out of fashion, and they can't even wash the car.

Yes Rog.  One of my customers asked last Summer how come I was allowqed to wash her windows while she wasn't allowed to water her garden with a hose.  She was OK about it really but was making the point that it seemed unfair.  I just said that her not being able to water her garden by hose would not affect her ability to pay her mortgage.
