This was a feature on the Jeremy Vyne Show, not a govt. regulation or blue-paper submitted to parliament.

Jeremy Vyne is notorious for featuring controversy on his show with biased reporting and controversial viewpoints, its tabloid journalism.

Highly unlikely to have any cause to keep any of us awake at night, unless, of course you want it to.

just what my dad said!!!!
Ffenest ( est 2007 ) is a fully insured premium quality window cleaning service based at Llandderfel near Bala. All our work is guaranteed, rain or shine, year round.

Even if it's ok'd, people will not be impressed when you're using water like it's going out of fashion, and they can't even wash the car. Undecided

Half my customers don't like it now!
Don't give them an excuse! Shocked

Earlier this year a few of my customers questioned me using WFP because of the hosepipe ban... I just told them that as a business I could use the water that I was using, and they seemed fine with that!

In all honesty I don't think it will ever come to a ban on WFP.

It's just scare mongering by the press - especially the BBC for some reason?

Andy
your all getting wound up for nothing. remember last years hot summer. same kind of thing ban this ban that. millions have been spent since the introduction of wfp
not to mention the amount of people employed witch obviously runs into thousands.
its not just the cleaning side what about the suppliers, manufacturers what do they think these people there going to do shut up shop. and everyone's gonna chuck there time money and hard work down the toilet ::)

oh by the way if anyone from the bbc or water board happens to reading any of this
try shutting down some illegal bosnian car wash's that might save you a few billion
litres a year. AND LEAVE US OUT.

Still the beeb site is unavailable............... Never ever known it to be down. Strange..........very strange.
Maybe the government has put in place emergency measures to stop all crap journalism entering the public domain :)

Funny thing is you never hear of a dishwasher ban, a ban on topping your garden pond, a ban on filling your luxury swimming pool or a ban on watering flowers (hardly important). How about a ban on irrigating football/cricket pitches. Same for Wimbledon. Shutting water parks. I think we will be in trouble though when the discussion starts on how inefficient an ro system is unless your filtering rainwater. :(

Hi Guys, it was yours truly on with Jeremy Vine today on radio 2, Paul from Devon, and yes I did say I use around 300 LITRES a day and there are guys in our industry who do use 1000Litres a day, thats only one IBC! So thank you to you guys on here in previous topic who defended me, Jeremy Vine did get it wrong and say 300 - 1000 GALLONS!

Any way I listen constantly to Radio 2 and when this subject came up felt impulsed and bl**dy angry so had to phone in!

Check out Jeremy Vines web page for a 'Listen Again' facility so you can hear the whole topic being debated.
Follow this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/vine/

I'm not sure they have added it yet but when they do it'll only be there for one week.
Come on guys listen in and E-Mail the show with your comments.

We have to defend our industry from this latest hurdle that this crappy government is putting in front of us!

Hope you enjoy the show, I certainly enjoyed ranting and raving in front of 7 Million people! Ha ha.

Goochie. ( real Name Paul)
