Are we supposed to vote for what we want (Window cleaning),... or what we think of the recent posts (Handbags)???

What are you saying?
Recent posts have seen too much squabbling?
Talking rubbish?
Bragging?
People liking the sound of their own voice? (That'll be me then)
Is it a gay thing?

This thread itself isn't about rubbers or scrims does that make it handbag?

This is turning into a thread that's going to have to be locked I'm afraid.

The general line of the thread is fine, and yes, as a moderator it is something that I personally am starting not to like.

Insults and name calling are frowned upon, regardless of whether the recipient is unfazed by the comments or not.
It is unprofessional, and looks bad on us when new users check us out.

And several of the replies to this thread have also been verging on the silly, guys just 'havin' a laff'

This is a section for debate and advice, for witty reparte there is a section on the forum put there esprecially for those that want to 'freewheel' so to speak.

Can't say that I get your meaning Ian. This thread is no worse than any other and becuase he didn't define his terms very well what people put in reply is a bit open ended.

I agree with your point about checking the forum out and looking silly to newcomers, but i haven't seen any name calling unless something beens deleted.

Jeff's post for instance is a bit frivolous, and yet most people would agree that he gives possibly the most informative and helpfull posts on here generally speaking. If you think that the posts in general are getting a bit out of line perhaps here is the place to say so.

If you can't have the occasional laugh with your colleges up and down the country now and again what's the point????
You never see me have a dig or name calling any one on the forums, but I do like the Occasional laugh, you Mods should be stoppinng the bitcheness that goes on on here not the occasional laugh.

Seems to me its always fine to have a pop at squeeky for instance, and the thread runs and runs? but the minute a post is put up and there are a few laughs on it, the mods are on it like a ton of bricks and lock it.

No wonder so many good people leave this forum.

Also I keep getting childish people from the forum with small genitalia ringing my phone night and day.

I will find out who it is, that's no problem. ;)

...and then when i do, I'll help them find a girlfriend.

If that's what Ian's getting at then I agree.
(I don't mean your post was out of order squeaks, I'm agreeing with your point)
