Hi Steve you asked earlier about the handling of the modulars, they are unexplainably light. Typed words do not do them justice, they are affected by high winds but you get used to it as you do with any pole. One way to explain about the weight is for you to seperate you ergo and reassemble with just the first three sections, then immagine that it reaches 60ft

here are my own weights for the ergo from my comparisons of other poles from Pros.
Ergo lite Carbon fibre X 8ft approx weight. Pole only
1 sect 1 lb .455 kg
2 sect 1 lb 2 oz 2 lb 2 oz .964 kg
3 sect 1 lb 5 oz 3 lb 7 oz 1.56 kg 24ft
4 sect 1 lb 8 oz 4lb 15 oz 2.34 kg
5 sect 1 lb 11 oz 6 lb 10 oz 3kg
6 sect 1 lb 14 oz 8 lb 8 oz 3.86 kg
7 sect 2 lb 10 lb 8 oz 4.72 kg
8 sect 2 lb 12 oz 13 lb 4 oz 6.01 kg
Using any pole at 60ft is an art and difficult as you have found out. The modulars are a true joy and pleasure to use. Maybe it needs its own topic but Alex has covered it pretty well. ps I think the F16 may be lighter than the S2.
Oh ....theres another modular due out on Friday.
