Know anyone with a Pro 10 that you could borrow/hire?

Or scissor lift.

Maybe they have a forklift that will get you up there in a cage, (you'd need a driver) could use a traditional ext pole with angle adapter.

Can't see them being too happy with a normal wfp inside no matter what the floor is like.

Fair comment Andy. Did the tomatoes benefit from pure water?
Why oh Why did he spell my name as bod & not bob on my wedding invites.

It was a conservatory, not a greenhouse  :)

It just didn't have any carpet or furniture in it at the time.

i definately would not wfp insides as you can bet there will be electrics in there. Also the frames on the inside will be very deep and extremely dusty so when you wet them you will cause a real mess , you should use a cherrypicker as mentioned earlier but if the price doesnt warrant it then i would use a ladder with it footed but tell them for safety reasons the price will have to be adjusted next time.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

ok cleaning

Sorry m8 but you would not be able to water fed inside i dont think the maneger would let you use it couse toomuch splashes and more water on the floor than u can mop up we clean inside and outside of tesco stores the best way to clean inside is use a V frame ladder and ask someone to hold it for you on the ground.

This has already been decided.

It is going to be wfp, the manager is ok with it, I will take some pics tommorrow.

Setting off at 4.00am , hoping to be starting at 6.00am.

Now what flow rate i will be using that is a different matter, 6 litres per minute should be ok lol.

Question for Alex and the others who have used wfp, what flow rate would you use ?

Whatever flow rate you use you are going to be swimming . Even at a low flow rate you will still have lots of water on the floor, and with it being an entrance I would not of thought they would let you do it that way

Dave you will needs loads of old towels. It looks really high to me mate. I would have used ladders for doing the lower parts after using WFP on the higher bits. You may have to do this if your making too much mess. You will have an idea of how much water you will need from doing the outside first, you can then make a decision on how much you want to use WFP on the insides. 60 litres would take some mopping up, Good luck with it Dai

Had another look, It must be close to 40ft high and would need a lot more than 60 litres. Let us know how much water you used.

Well , here i am , home and absolutely whacked.

Set off at 4.00am arrived at the store 5.30am, nobody knew i was coming so had to explain , whilst be confronted nby a jobs worth security guard, even sent me back for an hi-viz jacket.

Anyway started cleaning and then was confronted by 3 window cleaning thugs, they said it was there job and i should clear off, i stood my ground and said i was going to carry on, next they threatened that they wouldnt let me clean and that they were going to clean it instead.

I said you can clean it if you want but i am going to carry on, eventually a manager turned up and told them to come back next month for there usual monthly clean.
little do they know b&q are going national so the stores wont be employing direct.

Back to the clean all went well apart from only having an ionics 40' pole universal, boy does that get heavy after 7 hours, thats how long it took me to clean inside and out as well a smaller entrance , just as wide but only 12' high and about another 50 feet by 10 feet wall of glass.

the amount of water on the floor wasnt too bad apart from the floor being skew wiff so the water was creeping away from the doors, i had my son squeegieng the water out of the door as well as using b&q s extra wide brush, which was a god send.

Another bonus was one of b&qs senior citizens helping out with the water and moving things and directing  the general public, every time i had to move he cleaned up the area for me even tidying up my tools and warning tape.

I used about 450 litres altogether for inside and out, i left a few window slightly spotted , not bad for the amount of muck up there, still they were 98% clean, the lower levels were perfect, it was all good enough to get my docket signed anyway.

finished about 1.00 then did a block of flats on the way home with the rest of my water, also got a phone call to do another supermarket canopy about 10 miles from b&q but at this time i was half way home and to tired to even think about it, so got that one booked in for saturday.

So all in all quite an eventful day

Nice one. Long live the wfp!  ;D

We cleaned the inside of an industrial unit with our pole. Feels wierd cleaning inside eh? Glad it worked out for you and hopw it was a good pay day.

I have also had the experience of the thugs turning up. They had been sacked and no-one had told them  ::) Oops. My worker at the time was an ex bouncer. No worries  ;D They saw him and cleared off!

You could consider a 35ft ergolite. They are actually 37ft long + hip hieght. About 1/2 of the wieght of the universal. Not as tough though.
