the last job i had, they window cleaner said he earns 75 qiod a hour, all the time, 6 hours a day, 6 days a week

Hmmmmmm well i dont earn that much

of course, he is now saving to buy some WFP kit and start up part time

Why Oh why, do people feel the need to brag about earning that type of money

I don't doubt it's possible to earn that on some jobs but earning that every work hour takes some doing.  I do wonder if the guy was being totally truthful.  OK, maybe it can be done after years of refining the jobs but bragging about it won't help anyone.  I suppose if I got all my work like my top 10% I would be doing very nicely indeed but to get to that will take me a long time I think.

Over the years you would have to have had the equivilent of 3-4 rounds that have been refined ie all cheap small work dumped and all the cream work built into one round.This is not done overnight and the WCS that tell you they earn this kind of money are more than likely olny bragging unless they have gone through this kind of process,this is why i get annoyed when people say that work is only worth x2 the monthly take.

Mind you w/c pay is probablly better than security guard money and they have to do 12-16 hour shifts.

Its not just in window cleaning that this happens. As well as being a window cleaner (35 years off and on ) i am also a London Taxi driver (10 years).
Ar5eholes who brag about the money they earn and the jobs they have done are endemic in all trades. Don't believe a word of it they are sad gits trying to big themselves up.

I have been going a month, and I only earn 75 per day....so far

i started last year... after my first month of leaflets .. i would be lucky to earn that in one week out of the month... so to say you are on 75 per day after only doing the job one month is staggering and very hard to believe, but hey , who says its not possible... im inexperienced still.

you forgot to mention, laptop with mobile connection for the internet, i should know am doing it now lol,
i work p/t weekends, i get £5.50 hr, 16 hrs a day, i would not do this 6 or 7 days like most of them do, you have no life, as the rest of the time your not working your sleeping lol,  then wfp during the week,

Security is a very good business. Uniforms sign written vans, few blokes working for you, stop me if you've heard it.
I've got a friend who's started up. He's had lots of businesses his last one being a TC chip shop which he sold for a lot of money. He says security is excellent.

It`s exellent if it`s your business like WC but if your a security guard working for someone the moneys C***,you can earn more in a day wc than you can in a week being a security guard beleive me i did that job for a short while after i left school,it`s a job for ex coppers or semi retired not for a fit young bloke.

we have a window cleaner around here who says he earns around £200 a day, if he can earn that in 4hours like he says he does , hes a clever boy, hes a trad guy, and is a splash and dash merchant, i know ive seen him work.
now this guys is in debt up to his eyeballs, and why hasnt he brought a house if he earns that kind of dosh, £52000 a year, i would, i hate bullpooters.
my rounds are set to around £100- £130 a day, im happy with that, topped up with retained fire brigade money and the odd disco here and there,
im honest with what i earn to all the other window cleaners around here except the bullpooter, he dont need to know what i earn,
some people bullpoo so much that they believe themselves.
