Keep the hose on a reel and unspin it a few turns now and again by holding the hose at arms length and unspinning the brush or just disconnect and reel it back in holding between a cloth or thro your hand.
Ideally when you build up experience you learn which way it twists and alternate the way you errect the pole to equalise the effect.

I think it is the lightest produced wfp in the world!!!
Yes and no.
The original Superlite was slightly lighter, but this one is 5 times stronger. :)

..and yes I have got both. ;)

Why is the original better? I shall have both soon hopefully, can you add sections from the first pole to increase the length of the second?

The new version is much better.
I never said the old one was better. ???
There's no comparison.

I'd imagine you could add sections, I haven't tried.
But then, they're both the same length, so they're the same sections.
Means I've got spares though!

It is a fishing pole, plain and simple.  If you can't see that then nobody can help you.

Also, that "EZ Snap Tail" that gardiner's site boasts is "Design Protected" whatever that means, in nothing more than a practice golf ball like here:

http://www.118golf.co.uk/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=149

Except gardiner are charging £1.05 for them and you can get them in a golf shop for much cheaper.

"Design protected", yeah, but not by gardiners.

Tescos do them actually, but who cares?
Fair play to them.

Didn't you used to be the Sex Pistols vocalist?

Hi John,

I thought that I would bother to take the time to reply to your post.

The Protecta-Balls are design protected (which simply means that - the design is protected under IPO and UK Law) as they are not just 'golf balls'. You can buy something similar in a golf shop (or Tescos!) which you would then have to modify. Most of our customers want something straight off the shelf not a DIY parts list for them to adapt. The 'EZ-Snap Tail' is something completely different and they are not design protected by us but they are fully protected by the manufacturer.

The Super-Lite is not a fishing pole plain and simple.
We do have design protection from the UK IPO for this product. Why were we able to take out full IPO protection on this product? Because it is a unique design.

Any other manufacturer that tries to sell a product similar to either of the above products will have legal action taken against them.

I do like progress. Well done Alex for the investement and coming up with Mk2 version. Good luck.
On another topic you mentioned using them over 30ft, I think you are underselling the concept. If the poles are stronger then why not go for the complete everyday 3ft to 60ft market.
Most guys have no idea of how light and enjoyable an experience fishing poles are.

take it from me , these are not fishing poles, that was the image i had at first,
they are very rigid, ultra lite, and very strong, and it only takes secs to put them together, i dont own one, as i had a shot for a few weeks, and i fell in love with it, as soon as i can get some extra cash, i am having one, ;D

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your comments. Your original idea of using fishing poles for WFP work was the springboard for this project and has been of great personal benefit in my own commercial rounds. We feel that this project has now come to full fruition after nearly 2 years of working with them and trying out various improvements.

I personally do use the Super-Lite right down to ground floor work as it is more than strong enough to cope with this. One of my workers only ever uses a Super-Lite due to weak shoulders. I still feel though that telescopic poles up to about 30ft have their place and will suit many users better, which is why we are pushing ahead with the telescopic Super-Lite (SL-X) project.

I think that we all should be congratulating Alex on what he has acheaved he first went down the "off the shelf" road and realised that there was more to these poles and stuck to his guns and come up with something special knowone else can come close to the poles he has designed,
well done Alex i say  ;)

Hi Luke

We actually don't need any more testing done on these poles, I was just referring to the fact that we would do a special deal for Jouk45 as he has been giving us quite a bit of input recently on various projects, but thanks for the offer.
