NO, this is designed for window cleaning! look at the logos on the sections. The principle idea comes from a fishing pole, this is the first one to be made just for window cleaning. I think it is the lightest produced wfp in the world!!! Gardiners have had this specifically designed for window cleaning, Luke

can you get the extra sections at a later date when they ware out? and if so any idea on price? I am guessing you can use this pole for evry work you have as you can just add a section when needed am I right in thinking this.

Cheers Luke

yes you can buy sections or add sections later, I think Alex said that sections will be around £50 each, but because this pole is much tougher than a fishing pole it will wear less and also there are no clamps to go wrong! Personally I am going to use this pole for stuff over 25ft because I already have a Brodex 25ft pro long, but in reality bacuase this thing is so light I will probably end up using it all the time for 25ft-50ft stuff. i think at around 25ft it will weigh less than a kg!

Hi Guys,

The Super-Lite2, as pictured above by Luke, is based on Fishing pole jointing technology. However each section has been specifically designed for window cleaning stresses and use.

The pole would be quite unsuitable for fishing as the 'weighting', 'stiffness' and 'bounce' would not match a fisherman's needs.

The extension sections can be bought at a later date for about £50, meaning that you can always turn your '35ft' pole into a '56ft' pole without having to buy a complete new pole.

Individual sections can be bought if they wear out, however this would take a fair amount of use, if maintained properly, before this would happen. To give you an idea I am still using my original Super-Lite 20 months on, with only minimal wear to each joint.

Some people will still be skeptical of these type of poles, generally it is because they have never used one. However this type of pole will not suit everyone and even I do not recommend them for all types of work, ie Domestic work up to 30ft can often be more straightforward with a telescopic pole.

If you are of a practical nature then converting a fishing pole will always be an option, however if you use a fishing pole of the same quality as the Super-Lite2 then it will probably cost you more money. The sections on a Super-Lite2 will generally be in a class above ordinary fishing poles for durability and ease of use.

Luke is that the pole hose your having trouble with? If so it looks like silicon hose might be the future.
