Simply fit one of these to the side of your reel and then plug your hose connector to it, it should stop this happening.
Hi Clear Vision,I understand what you want. I use a similar method to allow quick change of tanks and pumps in my trailer system. What I use is a '1/2 barb - Pro End stop' fitting on the pump end .and a '1/2" barb-pro tail' fitting on the hose side . This will prevent any leaks but will still allow you to connect quickly. Here is a direct link to the page:http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Pro_Fittings.html
i may be rushing and reading this wrong...but the hose from the pump to the reel should not be moving at all... i have a cheapo connector attached and when the reel spins, the hose connector does not... hence the piece of hose does not move.so why is yours moving?
