I live with alone with my wife as my only companion.
I forgot to mention that my wife is actually myself, we married in a private ceremony in the airing cupboard. I also have all my children around me, well I say children there actually dolls.
The curtains are never open at my house in case people see me with no trousers.

I love knitting, jigsaws and making cakes.

Lets be friends, love me!

Funniest thing i have read in a while!!! me and the missus are rolling around laughing!!   ( my missus is not me... i think!)

I've had no end of help from people on this site. Don't know how I would have managed without.

I'm also heartened by some peoples generousity of time and energy.

I think everyone on here are virtual carpet cleaners. Created by a computer. Coz the real world I'm in bears no resemblence to the picture painted on here.

From these sites I've had loads of work, learned lots more skills and techniques that I would have NEVER learned, bought a TM which I would have NEVER done and met some fantastic people which IMHO is the best thing.

I am fortunate to be one of the 1st few to join the UK's original forum and as some of the people change my list of friends grow, this year I've had a couple of days with Mike Halliday, a leather experience with Paul Moss's Missus :o met up again with Mr. Ingram bumped into that wooly back Washbrook all cleaners that I wouldn't have met if it wasn't for here.

Oh and that super spy who keeps everything to himself Carpet Guy.

Interesting reading as always. My pennies worth is to get rid of the post count.

Just because someone posts a lot and has the "whatever" status doesnt mean they are better than a first time poster or no more.

Best, Dave.

cean2 clean

I have checked your posts and not one of them is constructive.

So we not what you are.

Regarding new posters if you are constructive feel free to post.

Ok maybee the question has been asked before so what.

if you are reading or posting when you should be cleaning hopefully someone will inspire you.

After all we are all on the great adventure of Self Reliance just like the cavemen were billions of years ago

I also admit I am adicted but do try to break the habit.

Abit of a contraversial question, but, one that is worthy of an answer. There are many, many thousands of cleaners in the Uk working day and night, but only a small fraction of that amount find time to frequent forums such as this (are they the stupid ones or are we for doing it)!! Only about 450 of the 11,500 registered members ever come back and post, many just look, so it's down to the same old people posting away time and time again, asking and answering the same old questions. So, my question, are we/you the daft ones, do you come on here because you feel lonely and insecure, do you need reassurance all the time from other carpet cleaners or do you have nothing better to do?? With all the belittling of new members I am confident that the lack of postings by 'new' members are due to the older ones raising their guard, wanting to protect their status....So why do you bother??

I like many others on here use this forum to educate ourselves and others on the carpet cleaning industry.

I came on here as a newby! I knew very little about the carpet cleaning world but have learnt a great deal from reading previous posts and contributing in discussions and asking questions. Also by being in regular or occasional contact with more established members!

I now enjoy reading posts and replying to the odd one I fee i can constructively contribute to with my limited knowledge. I know there are more vastly experienced viewers of this site that know a great deal more than myself but prefer to stay silent for one reason or another.

Call me sad or what I dont care, my missus thinks its sad I'm so interested in my chosen profession but there you go, I think eastenders and coronation street is sad, at least i learn stuff on here.

Best wishes all,
Jason.
