Hi Simon,

I have been to, and I am sure others have a s well, where the back gardens are an absolute disgrace. We had 1 customer who I am sure NEVER cleaned up the dog mess and had 2 little children!!!! Their back garden was so bad in the end we told them unless the kept the garden clean and free from the mess we wouldn't be able to clean the backs any longer.

It use to be bad enough walking the mess up a ladder rung, its worse still pulling a hose through it!!

...and this is why I'll never have a dog! The thought of picking up a fresh dog-log and plonking it in a carrier bag makes me feel sick even to think about it!

So: £9.99 trainers in the bin (outside)....job worth £12....mmmm!

I always keep a bottle of dissinfectant in my van for cleaning my hose. Keep the spray stuff for my hands too. Imagine chomping on your lunch with cat crap on your hands.

Yeah, been there. There is a disabled bungalow in Stanmore that I looked at once. The guy had a big dog, some sort of an alsatian cross. Every day the dog was put out in the tiny garden to do its business. Trouble was the grass had grown up about 8 inches and I didn't realise what was in it untill i was halfway across the lawn because I was too busy looking at the windows.
Cleaned my boots with a pressure washer and never went back.
