Which WFP system is best in your eyes?

It depends on the person as most will disagree. You have Tucker, Ionics, Omnipole & Concept 20 are the dearer systems. Yhen you have lots of smaller ones Brodex, Stream, Gardiners, Facelift, Outreach, Andrews & many more. You also have suppliers for self build.

I personally prefer Tucker, my system is 4 1/2 years old, never broke down, does everything it says on the tin. The poles & brushs are in my opinion the best, but others will disagree, my work is all commercial & at least 3 month frequency, used by employees aswell. I have tried & got other poles, but overall i would go to Tucker up to 35 - 45 feet, above this we use ergo lite poles, which are realy expensive double the price of Tucker & the new ergo 2 is treble.

I also have a Stream system in a van, half the price of Tucker, but delivers the water the same, i can recommend these aslo, as it does exactly what i want it to do & the people at Stream are realy helpful & try to taylor the system to your needs with no hard sell.

Probably a lot in here have the same dealings with who they have chose, so its personall preference.

all the bits and industry standard and all available off the shelf at certain compaines

it really is easy, just connect a few wires and pipes and away you go

its all very easy, 2 wires to the pump ( red and black ) to the battery connections ( use a seperate battery, so you dont have a flat battery )

incoming pipe from water tank

outgoing to a connection that goes to your prush

Seriously though, I'm hoping to go WFP in the autumn and when I first looked at it, it looked complicated. However, once you understand how the various components work, from the filtration system to the putting it on the windows it all makes sense.

What did you mean in your original post, best make of system ie tucker, omnipole, ionics ect or best type of system ie trailer, backpack, cart or van mount + hot/cold?

I would say if you get a backpack or a trolly you'll never be wasteing your money as these will always be useful the future.  However to see how good wfp is you need to try it for several months, you don't really reap the benefits until a few cleans have gone by.

Agree with all except a cheap pole.

 Buy the best you can afford because you will only replace the cheap one later. I had a cheap 18ft glassfibre one and thought it was ok but a little heavy and not long enough for some windows.

I now have to a 34ft carbon/glass fible pole from Pure freedom and wish I could have upgraded to this when I purchased the system.

Not sure which model it is but its the new one fron pure freedom. A carbon fibre/glass fibre composite. £400 smackers and its the dogs.

I was going to stay trad but feel wfp when mastered has many benifits.
To get an idea I am going to attend a wfp course at the WCA to get an insite on best methods.

Some good answers from others , it is totally up to you what you buy, the best advice is look at as many systems as possible before you decide.

The budget you want to spend in relation to your work is th main factor.

Roughly: Self build £1000
               Ohter non main manufaturers £2000 +
               Tucker £4500
                Ionics £3000 starting up to £10000 +

You need to look at what they sell, then start to add on poles, fitting speedliner floor & the list goes on, but, you decide on the best product for you, try to look at asmany local wc,s to see there,s & try poles.

i allways thought it was to teach people to use a brush on a window, its alot like using a brush on the floor to sweep up, it takes some practise
