The last few mondays something has gone wrong.
Forgot invoice pad one week, forgot microfibres the other.
Today - just started 3rd job of the day and my Flojet just stopped working.

Switched to back up battery - nothing!

Thought I'd swap the pump over with the new SHURflo that I'd been keeping as a spare. Then realise that the Flojet had female connectors and the SHURflo has male connectors (bad planning).
Local plumbers merchant manages to supply the necessary parts and away we go. Go to bolt the SHURflo in and find that the bolts that I had used for the FLOjet are too big in diameter for the SHURflo. Off to Screwfix to order the bolts, nuts, washers etc wait 15 min for them to pick the order only to be given the wrong size bolts (someone had put them in the wrong store location and consequently they did not have the ones I needed)!

Quick devert to Wickes and all is sorted.
Decide I may as well wire in the varistream that I had been keeping for the new van (had been operating the Flojet just on the pressure switch - no varistream).
Wired in the varistream and a trickle of water

Lowered the height of the pump (to get rid of the air lock) resulting in a good flow of water.
Bad news - Now got 7 jobs to catch up with.
Good News - learnt about the varistream and picked up a new local customer.
At least Monday is out of the way!
Heavy rain due tomorrow!

Maybe the song should have been, "Tell me why I don't like Tuesdays?"
