Can't help you directly with the problem but if you connect up a small 4.6 litre DI bottle full of new resin to the outlet of your last DI container then at least you'll have 000 TDS water whilst the one you have in your vehicle at present is absorbing all the TDS impurities. I assume your WFP system is an ionics, if so how many DI tubes do you have on your tank and have you checked the TDS readings on all 3 if you have 3 fitted. Perhaps 2 of them are exhausted (1st & last).

I had the same problem, all I did was turn the flow from my water source down to a slower rate and the TDS returned to normal. sometimes when you have the water flowing fast from the source the DI cant cope as well as you might expect. I have had nomore problems.

I seen a nice 448ltr vessel at the soft drinks factory down our way - I wanted to buy it from them but apparently they only rent them - imagine changing the resin in that bad boy!!  should last a while though!

Hi Easyclean
I have an ionics pro5 but it only has 1 DI vessel. Nobody else that I've heard of that has a pro5 has ever needed a 2nd DI so I presume it shouldnt need one. Thanks for the suggestion anyway and will keep it in mind.

Hi Bob Spooks
I dont have my flow rate high. Im quite careful to have it down as low as possible without affecting the speed or quality of clean. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi JM123
I took a little bit of the resin out this morning and shook it all about, I didnt do the hokey cokey though...........  TDS dropped to zero but after a few houses it crawled back up to 004. Will try taking a bit more out tomorrow morning and monitor it over the day.
Another thing, Remember yesterday I mentioned that my in-line TDS meter was reading 'ERR'. I contacted Ionics to get a replacement this morning and they said that the warranty runs out tomorrow! How lucky was that!! They poped one in the post for me!

I bet I know what your problem is after re-reading your 1st post.

Your TDS reading after your RO is 008 so the water in your full tank is 008. Therefore your DI tube is having to clean all the 008TDS water as best as possible. Although you very recently changed your resin in your DI tube the reading is 003 and growing by the day with constant use.
If your RO was producing 000 water into your tank then your DI tube resin wouldn't really be doing any work having to polish the water so to speak.
Fit a small D.I. vessel to the end of your installed DI tube so that the 1st DI tube does all the work of polishing the water and collecting the TDS whilst the second ensures you have 000TDS reading until the 1st DI resin has absorbed all the TDS it can.
Then it's time to dispose of the 1st resin and replace with the second DI's resin for the 1st as it will be starting to climb on the TDs reading.

the only thing it could be then is your resin has gone off, it may have got too dry and cracked.

Now its not dry, Its been kept sealed up in the garage and resin is damp. Going out soon so will empty more of the resin out of the vessel. After I have drained all of the water out of the vessel and stood the vessel on its end, how far from the top should the vessel be filled?
Just thought of something else, I will check to see that the 'outlet' endcap on the vessel is clear and clean. There could be a bit of dirt in it.
