Pj , AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO DO THAT , I wont lower to that cos it wont be regular , it was a one off , subbed to me through a small com cleaning firm , they are going to be putting a lot of work my way by the sounds of it , so i think i should be taking them for what i can while i can , i get the feeling that as they get bigger a wfp system will be in the pipeline for them .

Fair enough.  If you'd explained that, replies might have been different.
Maybe you did. :-\
In that case I would say £50.  It will make them wince but they'll stand it for a while.  Sounds like you know your market best though mate.

At the end of the day business is business! Why charge a silly cheap price just because this company might put more work your way?

If you start charging cheap prices for the work they give you then the work they give you will not be worth the hassle, it will become a bind rather than a good source of work.

I have a "lifestyle management" company that pass me on work from time to time. A lot of the work they pass me are one off jobs - With these jobs I always make sure I charge high, because the work is taking me away from my regular work. Through this company I once cleaned a 2 bedroom cottage inside and out, the cottage had 8 small windows + a door. It took me 50 minutes, but I had quoted £60 because it was a one off - they paid it with no problems, and I still get work through the lifestyle management company!
