there are so many fingers in the pie that no one person actually gets the extra 750% mark up.
Maker has to build it and pay for workshop and heating, insurance and others to make it, then it may have to go to be tested for BSI or US equivalent, then marketed and then there's trade shows, the distributors and distribution costs, and the distributor having to have insurance and premises also allowing for faulty machines, breakage, accountants cost and alot lot more you can see how it adds up.
Best to make your own with a bit of sticky black plastic.
