ive had my alltec advantage for over 3 years, in that time it has done 900 cleaning hours. The water pump is getting a bit tierd but the vaccum is as strong as ever. it has only cost me half a days down time due to a part braking. It comes in half in seconds so is easy to take up stairs if needid, this also makes it easy to work on. I would recomend it to anyone.

ninja is best all round although it means u have to deal with a certain company which for some reason is made very difficult by most of its staff  ( not naming names) 8),  but have used a friends scorpion that he swears by and was v impressed.  (bit noisy for residential work tho.

It's really horses for courses.

Most machines use similar pumps/vac motors so performance between similarly rates machines should (In theory) be the same.

Calmore,

That's the point though, the difference in design leads to different levels of effeciency. Compounded this makes a big difference. Or so Ashbys told me anyway.

Alltec swear by vacs, in parallel, whereas the Ninja goes for vacs in line, one gives greater air flow, the other greater water lift, or so they claim.

This is the best porty.
Its made by Kleenrite ( the ones that do the swivel head upholstery tool).
It is rebagded by,Chemdry,Chemspec,Hydromaster and a few others.
I bought mine from cleancare about 18 months ago for £2800 plus the dreaded. But I now know somebody else that will sell a new one at around £2500 all in.
It is 300psi, 2 x 3 stage heavy duy lamb  vac's. 2 inline heaters with recirculation mode( basically uou fill the tank with cold water switch the inline heaters on circulation and go and vac and aggitate the carpets,20 minutes later the full tank is red hot).

The best machine on the market in my opinion.

Paul.

Is that the one they call the Hydo vantage? if it is I've had a demo of the machine and its very good just could not stretch to the £3000 that the supplier wanted for it. It seems a bit on the large side for a single user? How much hose can it run?

My vote goes to "other" for the speedster is a great machine for the money as is the Masterclean which is even cheaper. My own machine is a secondhand Ashby's Diamondback 135psi twin vacs. Brilliant so far for what it cost me.

Regards,

Adam.

I use the Kleenrite porty 300psi its uk name is the Edge II, very good machine powerful and reliable, got the swivel head upholstery tool at the same time, also a good piece of equipment.

So my vote is Other.

I have the extracta excel which works fine, if slightly underpowered, but my vote would be the scorpion power almost as good as a TM. I was almost afraid to put that in as most of this forum seems to slag off the supplier.

Mike,

In the past this Forum has Discussed the Scorpion and the Eclipse and gave them a good run.
As Doug has said in a prious post the Forum was virtually Hi jacked.

So much so it  alienated a lot of the Forum members.

The Supplier has there own Forum so its an excellent place to learn about and discuss the benifits of thei product.

Yiou may be pleased to know I was one of the First people to stand up for Ed Valentine when he was given a hard time by a well known truckmounter many years ago, on Cleantalk way before a certain company was started. .
