Cleaning around poolsides
« on: July 30, 2006, 06:16:11 pm »
Hi all,
I am after some advice.
I have been asked to undertake some cleaning around a poolside.(hard surface)
Can anyone give me any info on what to use bearing in mind the pool is a flat deck pool and the chemicals will run into the channels and through their dosing system.
Is there a water- based substance that can be used that would be strong enough.
Thanks in advance

Hi Robbie,
I do quite a lot of this work using a Truckmount and a Hard surface tool. As I'm rinsing and extracting at the same time chemicals going into the pool are not a problem. I can't think of any way to do it otherwise due to the problem you've identified.
Best Regards

Thanks for your swift reply dave.
I will hire an extractor which will limit any chemicals going into the pool.
What type of chemicals do you use?
Many thanks

Hi Robbie,
I'd need more info here as to type of surround and degree of soiling although personally in this situation I'd always try and use a microsplitter for safety
