Lone Worker / Man Down
« on: January 11, 2018, 11:04:49 pm »
Have just recently had a situation where a lone cleaner collapsed on site.
I am full aware of my responsibilities regarding lone workers and have immediately put in place a call system at the start and end of shift.  I am looking for real time monitoring. Monitoring companies  charge a fortune for lone worker tracking and supervision, well it is when you consider a lone worker can be on site for only 1 HOUR at each location when its only a small office. does anyone have and cheap alternatives that they use. I have been looking at trackers smart phones apps  etc  just need something in place  asap

Hello
I read your post on lone working. Did you manage to find something suitable?
I was able to use an app called quick time on google play store. It may not be the best as you need to have access to a place they can tap in, however, it is free for the first 50 user Id's you will create.

I hope this helps. I am interested to know if you had managed to overcome this through a different method.

Best Wishes
