I was wondering what insurances you chaps with these expensive heaters (what are they £4-5 grand) have in place if the unthinkable were to happen, as in theft?

Did you get an instruction manual or anything like that with yours? I just had a warranty paper with my details and serial numbers on.

there only one real place we trust that fully insures them and the extra bits and thats a plan , we had a truckmount carpet cleaning van pinched a few years ago   which the value came in at the wrong side of 30k , took a few weeks to sort but got it all paid out in the end , well happy with the service

i got the webasto warranty and serial number,grippatank brochure,2 baseball caps(one for me and the missus!)and an instruction manual.

Haha. I got the brochure. Only the one cap. But 2 pens too. But no instruction manual

dont get too cocky mate.i too thought i was meticulous with safety with a gas heater until i had a leak.

its got a troubleshooting guide,fault codes and how to use the controller to turn the heater and frost stat on and off etc
