For bad conservatory roofs and fascia's I always use the customers tap water as the extra pressure helps, obviously you will
need to give the conservatory roof a quick scrub and rinse with pure afterwards to remove any spotting on clear glass.

On bad first cleans, do you sometimes plug yourself into garden hose first to get the worst cleaned off before going over with pure or do you find this wasted energy?

no need.i squirt the windows and frames with virosol in a 5L pressure sprayer if their particularly bad and scrub and rinse a bit more.job done.
I use to use their outside tap on dirty conny roofs but that's what I do now too and it cut the time and effort.
