On bad first cleans, do you sometimes plug yourself into garden hose first to get the worst cleaned off before going over with pure or do you find this wasted energy?
Ive not had a bad first clean experience where ive considered that.....not even when trad working.
But then, this is where for me 6 jets and hot water come into play.
Hey nathan...can you still do a first clean with less than 25ltrs with 6 jets?
Mate if you can l would love to see a video of that as it would cut my first cleans down by 75%.
Liking your vids by the way, most only talk the talk.
The pump in the backpack is too weak for any type of good flow to come thru a 6 jetted brush. Tho i also mentioned i dont do first cleans with back pack, why would i when i have a van system and better pump. This was mentioned i think in how far you can clean with a trolley system and i made mention how some feel that unless they drown each window, they feel they cant do a good quality clean.
In response to another post, yes i mentioned that sometimes after a first clean dirty water can leak out the seals and if there is a problem just let me know. Ive never had a call back and the only one to mention anything was the messers who used it as a lame excuse. I dont do one off cleans, they all become regular customers which i belief speaks volumes for my quality. Nor do i belief it puts doubt into their minds as some suggest, but then i dont have many OCD customers who purposely go checking every window cleaned. People just dont care, they have a glance in general and if it looks obviously clean they are happy. They dont wait for low sun to check nor look at it from every angle as we do to try and find fault. The only window they may take notice from is the kitchen and thats when they are stood at the sink washing the pots!! When im back home, im very rarely stood at a window looking out from it
In relation to this actual thread, i find that with pure hot water ive not come across a need to use chemicals. Like most of what you guys have already said. I go round all upstairs windows cleaning just the frames, then when back to the begining i just clean it like any other job and repeat the same procedure downstairs. But yes, a bigger brush ie a 14inch dual trim short bristles and 6 jets really does help!!
I find you waste more time rinsing chemicals//soapy residue off than if you didnt use any chemicals in the first place. Thats been my experience anyway.
Any outside window vent does get a flooding through, until its just pure coming through.
If its a skeptical new customer i show them a window which is virtually dry and get their approval before I leave, but i dont waste my time doing so on every first clean.
