Elaborate... My thrust is when something says it is 'blah-blah' and that is used as a major selling point about anything, especially when safety related I personally want to know the in's and out's of whatever that is.
If you are going to drop aload of money on a pre-built system, go ahead its your choice, your money.... I was only trying to 'bump' you to take a second to find out what exactly 'crash tested' actually involves and means.
We are all different here.... I love fettling with my systems and over the years it has changed from a trolly, 25litres containers and a tiny little r/o system to now its something very different and has more features... but at the end of the day it just makes water... I put it in the van.... the pump spits it out of the brush at which point I scrub a bit and rinse.
But with this all said I have recently had a new bathroom fitted and paid someone to do that.... could I have done it myself.... I suppose yes but my skills, techniques and knowledge of it all would have produced a poor end result.... so nothing wrong with buying a 'turn-key' system.... its all about choices.
Other than the above.... have a think about winter... In the past we have had some very cold weather for prolonged periods... there is a very big difference between the odd cold snap and extended periods of cold weather and this may affect your system being as all your goodies are sat in a tin box but I do see you can also buy a 'frost stat' for the system which is a nice feature I have to admit (again find out exactly what and how this functions especially fuel usage, durations, temps etc).
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
