Has any body any experiences with these systems, if so, what do you think?
what type of r/o is that?

Very nice and if I had money to throw... Yeah would get one.... But really love the fett'lin of a DIY system.... plus I know exactly how is functions and each component is picked by me.

But hey it does look sweet... just one point.... when its cold enough to freeze thats alot of money to replace those bits and pieces.
The more I know the less I know I know ...

thanks for the replies. I like the flush and fill feature and seems to be a very compact and easy to use system.

Danny here is the guts of it..... http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/pump-controllers/system-controllers/liquid-logic-trade-v3.html

Personally I have a shed and carport so avoid the need to have everything in my van.... 2000l holding tank + 4040hf5, twin di vessels and a subpump with petrol station type trigger pump thingy to fill the van tank.... its that simple if you have room for a few holding tanks.... you could save your self a shed load of cash.... no need for autofill, auto flush.... make water once a week.... so flush first, then make water I have another hose coming out of the holding tank ... when I see water coming out of that... tanks full....shut it off.... Job done.... somethings need to get complicated...some don't.

But I am sure you have thought alot about this...so decisions, decision...good luck.

I'm not sure that the flush and fill feature is really required e.g. stopping filling every hour to flush for 2 mins. IMO more of a gimmicky feature. The guy in the vid is right though, fiddling about with the waste setting each day to flush can be a pita ...... but I just added a bypass around the waste valve with an on/off tap to my diy system - open to flush ( water will take path of least resistance ) closed to produce pure, it really is that simple !
I agree with Dave on this, nice if you can afford it / no practical diy skills or inclination but if diy you will know the system and how to fix or maintain it.

Hi Danny,

Do let us know if you would like to arrange a quotation and demonstration of our equipment  as our systems come with Auto Flush and also include service alerts, flow meter, and pressure monitoring but are crash tested and designed in partnership with industry leaders Gardiner Pole Systems.

Am not taking a pop at any suppliers but find out what exactly 'crash tested' is and what it can and cannot prevent/provide.

As with all things.... Buyer Beware.

See what draws me to it is im trying to to covert to wfp, trying to make things alot easier for myself within the business and  would like to get a system that is as easy to fill up/maintain after a days work, rather than going diy and making sure i dont over fill etc I know there are aftermarket kits that do that same thing but its more for convenience. I would rather a professional install so everything is neat and tidy.

Ive just had a quick browse and do like the grippa system. The controller does seem to be a great piece of kit especially. Will look further into it.

Could you elaborate dave? pm if you wish.

Overpriced waste of money. Same as ionic,  grippa and the rest of them

I do all my water filtering from the van with an automated system, just connect the tap hose to an outside van port switch on
the water and leave it.
As a sole trader I cant see the point of putting another tank in my garage and having to pump water form one tank to another.
Your going to pay more for a ready made system but if compare all the components like for like it wont as big a price gap as you
may think, for instance a non baffled tank full of plastic balls will do your job but it wont be in the same league as a quality baffled
tank with a build in safety cage.
That said there will always be the exception such as a Ionic parts per billion system which is designed for people with plenty of
cash and no sense.

Elaborate...  My thrust is when something says it is 'blah-blah' and that is used as a major selling point about anything, especially when safety related I personally want to know the in's and out's of whatever that is.

If you are going to drop aload of money on a pre-built system, go ahead its your choice, your money.... I was only trying to 'bump' you to take a second to find out what exactly 'crash tested' actually involves and means.

We are all different here.... I love fettling with my systems and over the years it has changed from a trolly, 25litres containers and a tiny little r/o system to now its something very different and has more features... but at the end of the day it just makes water... I put it in the van.... the pump spits it out of the brush at which point I scrub a bit and rinse.

But with this all said I have recently had a new bathroom fitted and paid someone to do that.... could I have done it myself.... I suppose yes but my skills, techniques and knowledge of it all would have produced a poor end result.... so nothing wrong with buying a 'turn-key' system....  its all about choices.

Other than the above.... have a think about winter... In the past we have had some very cold weather for prolonged periods... there is a very big difference between the odd cold snap and extended periods of cold weather and this may affect your system being as all your goodies are sat in a tin box but I do see you can also buy a 'frost stat' for the system which is a nice feature I have to admit (again find out exactly what and how this functions especially fuel usage, durations, temps etc).

Good luck with whatever you choose to do. ;D
