if it works for you nathan then fair play.
my van set up is a lot neater and simpler but each to their own.
i dont like van magnets(they look cheap IMO)i much prefer large plain sign writing with colour logo.ive had some before though years ago.balls in the tank, hot water, solar panels on roof, electric reel, brushes with too many jets and extra battery all just faff and not needed IMO.i also dont like the ratchet straps, when i had them they were twice as thick and blue(5 ton ones i think)i much prefer a crash tested tank frame.
i also use my side door space for storing my cloths/trad gear/chemicals etc and door cards on the back doors for spare brushes and BOAB.
This set up suits my needs at the moment.
The van is on a 56plates and not sure how long her life will be. So rather than a fancy new signage on an old van I went with magnets. When I get a new flash van then I will get it nicely painted up.
Solar panels are great for keeping my batteries topped up. Now and again I will give them a full bench charge but not very often at all. It also means that theres absolutely no need to leave keys in engine if the battery gets flat like some guys do

Admittedly I should take the 2nd battery out, been meaning to for last 6mnths but just not got round to it, so its found its lasting place in van.
Ratchet straps......come on it holds what it holds. Be it 2 tonne or 5 tonne, though apparantly bigger n thicker is better 😉
I keep all my chems behind the water tank as well.
But again, each to their own. Im looking forward to the cleaning show in september to see some other vans and peoples setups. Its just great to get some varied ideas
