manky EOT very grim

We have been asked to clean a very manky 1 bed flat, covered in sicky stuff, cobwebs from decades ago, and a a bathroom and kitchen that would turn your stomach.
There is no carpets or curtains, or funiture for that matter, just usual kitchen walk in pantry x2 and sink are and cupboards that have seen much better days.
do you think 2 cleaners for 2 full days to do the basic clean and then sparkle clean (flat is being sold) would be adequate time?
The solictior is paying the cleaning invoice, so the customer isn't too worried about the price, but i'm thinking of almost £500 as it's that bad. I don't want to sound like i'm over charging but have done 5 bed houses that were cleaner and so cheaper. and they only took 1 day.
will the solicitor laugh at me?
Thanks

I agree with Ali, the solicitor can hardly say anything about your charges when they are charging nearly £200 per hour. He isn't paying anyway, and after you have finished the house will be saleable or rentable again. While its in the state its in its not earning any money.

i would have no problem charging that if that disgusting and they should be pleased if you can turn it round quickly as everyone wants to either get property sold or leased as quick as possible these days.

belive me, it is truely revolting. the skirtings are thick with black grime and webs, the walls, ceiling and well everywhere has webs on it, and not little ones either.
It's the kitchen and bathroom that are the worst, really badly limescaled greased and stained.
The floors will need a scrub, the carpets have been thrown out, and the bare wooden floor is showing.
also the interior windows and frames are to be cleaned.

Hi Lisa
I did a job recently for Corals the bookmakers on a Maisonette above one of there shops,It was bad but not as bad as you are saying and i quoted £480.00.They didn't question the price and paid up straight away so your price sounds good to me!
Regards Rob.

Hi Lisa
If your in an affuent part of the country £500 is OK, but not in poorer areas we could never get £15.60 per cleaner hour here in Newcastle. If you get it then well done.

The flat is in a rural village in shropshire, just outside of shrewsbury.
The situation is, the lady who lived there died last october, her neice (who lives in llanelli, and travelling back n to) has been sorting it out, and apparently a solicitor is paying for the cleaning, not sure if hes paying for other things to help the family.
I did tell her it would need around 2 days of work with 2 of us, and that it would be quite expensive, but she was ok, just said the solicitor would send me a chq.

I'd strongly advise you to give her a price before you start then there's no arguments later

Hi
I'm just about to draft her a letter and full quote. She already has a copy of my insurance etc.
I'll type up the findings of the survey (don't know where to start, it's all filthy dirty),and say the tasks will will endevour to complete in each area. This will sound better than " thats 500 smackers please"
Should i put on the quote the different parts of the clean, for example day 1 main clean and clearaway any left over rubbish £xxx Day 2 complete main clean and complete sparkle clean £xxx, or just as one price?

One price, otherwise they will start to mix and match and you have given yourself a timeline to keep to.

Hi
For God's sake take before & after pictures so if it comes to it you can prove exactly what has been done.
