just another question regarding univalve. Does the pole length effect the operation of the valve, would it work just as easily on my 45ft brush fully extended as the brush fully closed?

So pole extended cleaning window above conservatory using uni value how are you able to keep both hands on the pole when tugging the hose ? Or can  In some cases like this you put your foot on the hose and push the push the pole towards the window to turn on and off ?  What hose do you guys recommend for the uni valve ?

With a gardiners push fit tap fitted to the pole cable ties and electrical tape I can clean the window above the conservatorywith both hands on the pole and use my index finger to turn the switch on and off . So I don't need to rest my brush on the sill whilst turning water off and on. I can turn the water off with brush off the glass. Saving time and Water. I understand the loop is a pain . The only way I can see it working for me is I see someone can't think of the name of the member of the top of my head had this yellow pole bung with grooves in it. Holding the pole with hose looped round hand sliding hand up and down the pole to tug  the hose to turn it on and off . I think I'm going to give the uni valve a go  . I like to have both hands on the pole when cleaning .

The Univalve fits in the top section of the pole, so when you connect to the tubeless set-up, your pole hose travels up the inside of the pole as it's  extended upto whatever height. Then you pull on /off.

As for hose, the Gardiner pu green hose is good, as is the Exceed blue hose.

Ok, so as posted on another thread, today i received my slx25 pole and its a great pole. But i also bumped into a friend who not long back replaced his inherited poles with the clx range (tho why he didnt go carbon i dont kno). Then he asked if i got the on/off gooseneck with it. Obviously i said no as i really like the valve tap setup i have. But i had a go of his and it got me thinking all day. So ive ordered one from gardiner but for my now spare pole thats a purefreedom v2 carbon pole, im using that with my backpack. Thinking of trying an aquadapter on it. As i dont want to tugg on hose. But whenever i do a search for it, it only comes up with the uni valve. Are aquadapters still on market? Has anyo e got a link to one please?

Is it only gardiner goosenecks which have the twist on/off feature then?  I would have ordered two but all my spare brushes dont have the quick connect hole like the gardiner brushes do

For your pure freedom pole google Aqua tap, for your brushes with the German thread connectors you can get a
quick loc brush adaptor.

Taps are ok ish i suppose

Kinking the hose - lol but ghetto and poo

Aquatap was crap

far too lose, tighten it up and far too tight, stupid contraption

Aquadpter was great but too heavy - univalve is amazing
