Same as you sent me...One section has snapped/ bent in the middle due to no fault of my own after only a couple of cleans.

All carbon fibre and composite poles are made the same way, fabric wrapped around a metal mandrel then shrink taped and heated. The tape shrinks as the mandrel expands. No poles are vacuum bagged and autoclaved.
Our material comes from a huge Korean outfit SK.
They are the main suppliers of uni material for the pole and fishing rod businesses in Korea and China.
A very small amount of weave is used for decoration, the strength comes from the uni.
Our breakage record is two out of many hundreds supplied, strangely enough we only heard about them on here!

I should not worry too much Nick as most suppliers including grippa I've heard others say their pole sections have snapped.
