I agree with you, but with a hooped end it drops straight down onto the ground.  The crud falls as it was hosed out. Surprised it`s not messy. I do about two gutter cleans a week and never have a problem at all. If i had a gutter muck removal only I will still use the vac but I don`t quote for that only the full monty. Connyroof , gutters and windows. More money that way.

I find the vac is like most tools, at times it is great when you have no access issues getting it round the property, and no problems getting the tools into guttering !
We did a retail unit Wednesday the front worked great with the vac, but the back was not full, probably half full, with 3 foot branches set in solid sludge making every grab a put down to clear.
Ended up laddering it cutting up meter long strips and placing in bucket.
Lucky there was three of us on the job so shared the ladder work.
