Put my Gutter Vac to bed
« on: August 10, 2016, 06:43:13 pm »
After using a gutter vac for a few years I am retiring it as I find I can do a better job with a pressure washes. I have a long pole and a 160dagree end which fix into a gutter and just blast all the crud out. Blast outer gutter  clean and then and wash windows with the lance and window clean  usual. No more vac for me. Anyone else find this works for them  . Do the same on Connies too.

Do you then get the vac out to clean up all the crap in the customers gardens

Must make a right mess.

I've witnessed the results of this, so I am assuming that this is a wind-up.

What happens when you blast the end-cap off a run or the seal out of a join?

Yeah tbh I think pressure washing gutters would make a right mess , not only on the windows but all over the walls as well , not forgetting those splatters that happen to end up in the neighbours garden . I know that if I personally saw 2 different companies , one with a gutter vac and one pressure washing the gutters , I'd choose the gutter vac guy. Looks more.... Professional  ;D
