You need to get a seperate meter. For the water u are using for cleaning windows. They will then be able to claim back bone return to Sewer charge. I've just done it with Northumbrian water and they were very helpful.Dazzler
Depending on where you are its not as bad as you think. My bill has gone from about £370 un metred to about £550 metred, yearly.Iv setup my own meter on my system to offset any water for business purposes against my tax bill.

What system do you use? What is your production rate? How much water do you use a day?
I use 500 litres pure a day at production rate of about 2:1 so I filter 1000 litres a day, through a twin boosted 4021 system.
