They work fine on an extreme pole I had an issue with it being Becker than an extreme putting strain on the clamp body but I've put it down to it being split before I changed the brush,the Xline brush mono version cleans like a flocked brush in other makes but not being flocked it holds next to no dirt in the bristles. Far far less scrubbing is required with this brush the videos showing it being used on YouTube  are demonstration purposes only,literally a couple of scrubs gets the job done IMO he best brush available at the moment usable on leads fantastic on Georgians and plain glass it floats over bars on Georgians even the bigger timber divides. Normally I try these heavier brushes for a house and take it off the pole again coz it just feels like another heavy brush but not this particular one it's good.

I really like the xline brush but unsure about it on my extreme pole .... I also love teckbuk and soft hybrid .....Brie durability the xline looks like it will last forever..... Interested to see how many of you guys use it on an extreme pole day in day out ??

The X-line brush will be fine on an Xtreme pole - I have had the X-Line brushes on the scales and they are almost the same weight as our standard Super-Lite brushes. So as the Super-Lite brushes are OK on the Xtreme poles the X-line will be.

However using an Xtreme pole with a standard weight brush (such as the Super-Lite or the X-Line) is not getting full advantage from the lightweight pole design. We do have in final testing a standard size Super-Litre brush that only weighs 175g - ideal for those who want more bristles and cover than an Xtreme brush but still want a lighter weight,

It's all about the bristles for me .having a super light brush isn't my priority .
If a brush is 10 Grams heavier or 50 Grams I'm not fussed .

I use a black gardiners soft , red Tecbuk hybrid and X-line mono .

But having loads of choices is great for us the user .
Everyone has different needs in their equipment

We do have in final testing a standard size Super-Litre brush that only weighs 175g - ideal for those who want more bristles and cover than an Xtreme brush but still want a lighter weight,

Now that sounds like the kind of brush I'd be interested in, more bristles yet decent weight. Would be great if the middle bristles were boars hair or the blue hybrid bristles, they've got excellent scrubbing power 👍

It will be good if it holds it shape and lasts,they don't last that long in my experience I also like the look of the Xline it being bright orange.

For me it is about scrubbing power. With the sl standard splay brushes I find the bristles simply collapse onto the glass (the bristles splay too much) so not much of the bristle head is in contact with the glass meaning there is less scrubbing power.

Alex used to do a 15 degree splay sl brush (less splay) so there was more contact of the bristle head with the glass and so more scrubbing.

People can be too obsessed with a light brush that glides over the glass - but was this can mean is a brush with less bristles and less friction, so basically less scrubbing power.

I know there is a balance to be had, but for me scrubbing power should be the priority in brush design.

waste of energy no different to scrubbing the glass three times when one scrub would have done the job.

Agreed. When you have to scrub, generally you have to use the corner of the brush, protected by bristle anyway. On dirty first cleans I'll use a heavy brush, but otherwise it's Extremes only.

I have only ever used extreme brushes but though they are light you still need to scrub more to feel you've done a thorough job,like I said before the Xline cleans with just a couple of scrubs with a good flow of water. The bristles seem to have perfect tension they don't fold flat and they are not to stiff,I use hot water and the brush hasn't deformed at all in about a month usually by now the edges of brushes are starting to curl up and look about a year old

People that are concerned about the weight of the Xline they are a nice weight 3 floors and below IMO,any higher I would use an extreme.

I'm the same m8 I didn't think I'd use another brush apart from the extremes but I was very surprised how quick I got used to the Xline,there is less scrubbing so it is easier to clean with
