Any Extreme. Lightness is everything. I tried Supremes for a while and they are great, but when I put an Extreme back on I thought, wow, this is so easy and never went back except for minging first cleans.

Xline wins hands down on everything but weight vs any other brush.
Reducing the weight could possibly reduce the quality of the brush so I'm happy to handle a few extra grams.
Second is Gardiners medium mixed hybrid supreme, just doesn't last very long.
Third is tecbuk..

Just put a flocked xline sill brush on my fascia/gutter/con roof pole and am very impressed with that as well.
Cleaning fascias was a breeze, so easy In fact I didn't even have to get the virasol out..

I don't get that bout Supremes not lasting long. I bought two at that show in Bridport earlier this year and both are used daily and both are still fine. Extreme brushes don't last as long though. The bristles point inwards after a couple of months. I assume therein lies the compromise. Less weight results in less durability.

Supremes the best all rounder - still going strong and clean great.

Extremes for 4 storey's and higher

Personal favourite is Tecbuk mixed (red and hogs hair) but the staff wreck them within 4 weeks and the customer service is worse than awful

+1 just went back to Xtreme medium and couldn't switch back to Supremes , The best compromise on both brushes i think is the Xtreme stock should be slightly thicker to make it a little more robust and Supreme stock should be reduced in thickness to make it lighter .

Or on the Xtreme make the buffers on the end bigger to give more robustness on the edges .

Varitech's very slim new version that isn't listed in their catalogue or on their website, absolutely cracking brush. As light and slimmer than an extreme but the bristles don't fall out and it scrubs better. Nice having the option of 2-6 jets and easily swap between fan and pencil jets in seconds.

1. Gardiners old 15 degree flocked sl double trim. (sadly discontinued but much better at scrubbing than the standard splay).
2. Gardiners supreme medium hybrid (would prefer a few more of the natural bristles and dispense with the extra jet holes).

i mainly use supreme brushes for lots of work these days.i think they are a good balance between SL and extreme.however on some runs of work(4 days worth) an extreme brush makes things a lot easier due to lots of awkward angle windows on nearly every property.standard SL brushes still get used for very dirty first cleans and large accounts with big windows, sill brushes for f/s/g and conny roofs.

the other week i saw 2 employees of another window cleaning company struggling to clean the windows over a kitchen extension with aluminium poles and vikan sill brushes!been there ,done that!vikan brushes might last forever but their joints and elbows wont.

alex has a staggering range of different brushes to cater for various applications.

ive just received a supreme medium hybrid i ordered and will be trying it out today.this could become my favourite brush!(for now!) ;D

SL standard brushes    most hardwearing brushes alex does IMO

supreme brushes            lighter than a SL.good all arounder.

extreme brushes             ultimate lightweight brush for awkward angle windows and high level windows

sill brushes                        i find them great for f/s/g and conny roof cleaning.

the extreme brushes in particular dont last long if used all day every day.a few months say but the sill and SL brushes will last ages.

price higher/work harder!

If your not getting at least 6 months from an Xtreme medium mixed then your way too heavy handed, I get well
over a year from mine but I don't use it to clean sills as the majority of the properties I clean have unpainted concrete
which I don't touch.
Xtreme medium mixed for all my window cleaning and Xtreme stiff for f/s/g cleaning.

I love the supreme flocked on my 22 slx, it does everything. For higher work where I need to leave the brush on the glass I use either medium hybrid supreme or medium extreme brush.
