I went an bought an LPG heater, but never hot round to fitting it, insurance went nuts about it. That's not only reason, but reading away over the last few months I think the water heater that's on the other post in more practical and done over night or early morning, will also give off heat during the night and pretty sure will prevent freezing. IMO Matt

IMO MattSo the insurance company you use don't insure motorhomes then either because they also use gas for cooking and some of the older ones use gas to heat the water up aswell ?
I asked my plumber if it's ok to put an lpg heater in the back of the van and he said 'no , no , no '
