Ok.
I'm want to buy a lpg water heater and all the bits needed to install it.
Can I have  your recommendations please.
I have a grippa tank delivery system only. I normally run the pump at 39.
What type do I need? 8 litre or 12?
I've seen the faster tankless heaters on eBay. Any good??
Does the heater go in before the pimp or after it?

Better still any ideas who can install at a fair price?

I would say 12 lpm or higher is no good for wfp work.
The heater is simply installed after the pump and di if you have one inline on the oulet side of the tank.

Brodex do a heater for nearly 400 squid but you can get the same identical heater from fleebay for 59 squid. Trust good old brodex  to rip ppl off;D

Not that i'm aware of.

If you are looking for a cheap good heater then fastar are ok as the cheaper ones with just the open tops with the poxy little cowel tend to blow out if it's a bit windy.

I went an bought an LPG heater, but never hot round to fitting it, insurance went nuts about it.
That's not only reason, but reading away over the last few months I think the water heater that's on the other post in more practical and done over night or early morning, will also give off heat during the night and pretty sure will prevent freezing.

So the insurance company you use don't insure motorhomes then either because they also use gas for cooking and some of the older ones use gas to heat the water up aswell ?

Got to be a bargain at  £545.00 ex VAT or maybe not when you can buy a better heater like a fastar 8l  including delivery for less than 100 squid

They do and they don't, you will be insured as long as your in the motorhome or caravan when the gas appliance is running
if your not in the vehicle and something happens then all I can say is good luck getting them to pay out.
Plus as a motorhome/campervan self builder I couldn't get insurance or legally sell the vehicle on if the gas appliances hadn't
been fitted and certified by a qualified person.
You just need to be careful and make sure you know what your insurance will actually cover.

i showed the maintenance man who serviced my boiler in my flat my van set up last year and he said it was well dodgy!

thankfully ive seen the light and dumped the gas bottle and heater and heavy hot water hose.

there is absolutely no need for a hot water system for regular window cleaning work.its extra expense and faffing about you dont really need.

you can work down to -2 with cold water.any lower then its a day off for me.

These water heaters are sold and used all the time  in the equestrian world.
So they can't be that unsafe.
