If I can reach it by hand, I just run my hand/fingers over it after wetting the glass.

Seriously soaking with pure water and giving them a good scrub normally gets rid surely?
If not try sticking a few drops of ecover dish soap on yer brush and make sure you rinse the glass well afterwards.

Strange, I find soft brushes rubbish on snail trails. The xline or Gardiners medium hybrid easily removes them.

As already mentioned warm/hot pure water works well on all kinds of crud so you could even start using  a chepo lpg hot water heater using hot/warm water that will make first cleans and bad regular cleans easier to do.

I only use hot water during the coldest months and have also noticed the better results with snail trails when using it.

Anyone recommend something to remove these from glass. I'm wfp.

The quickest and easiest way is to wipe them with a microfibre. Absolutley no doubt about it. 100%

They're also easier than the suggested LPG hot water route mentioned, less hassle than carrying soap round with you as had been mentioned also. Just carry some in your pocket/pouch.

So you mean when doing tops you stick a microfiber on the end of yer wfp as those little suckers clamber everywhere?  ;D

i just scrub a bit more.flocked brushes are better at scrubbing them off than mono brushes IME.
price higher/work harder!

I turn the water off and scrub sometimes. If it's a conservatory that's always covered in trails then I take an applicator in a boab and give the glass a scrub first.

I only use hot water to keep my gear from freezing and hose more manageable in colder weather. It's also nice to have warm gear to work with. I don't have a big enough problem with snail trails to warrant the cost of heating my water all year.

You make a good point but yes. In my experience they do not go high. I'm not saying they never go on upstairs windows, they tend to be on windows with shrubbery around them. So if i see a high snail trail, lob the cloth over the brush and up she goes !!  ;D
