I turn the water off and scrub sometimes. If it's a conservatory that's always covered in trails then I take an applicator in a boab and give the glass a scrub first.

Given my observations M'lud , i'd suggest that anyone who uses a BOAB is part time, or even off the radar so to speak............

I've got at street where there are snail trials on the eves! Some houses I go round the ground windows with a damp cloth to get rid of the spider webs then tackle the snail trails, rinse turn off water elbow grease then rinse. Warm water is better but....
