The xline brush seems very similar to the Gardiners sl. Thinking about trying the xline, just wondering how people find them.

you seem to be doing very well smudger,  how did you get into pressure washing, and what pressure washer are you using now.
i sold my recent washer last year because the work got quiet for driveway cleaning around here.    flyer dropped locally,  only got a few  of jobs. from it.      roughly paid for my washer.
i know if my van is sign written advertising my work  more pressure work would generate .
i know its ideal for weekend work if only an add on

Just trying to keep growing the biz, fast approaching the big 50 and crudely I just don't want to be out 5 days a week on the tools...

Got into pressure washing more or less by accident, had two or three customers ask to have the tiled porch roof cleaned, so one of the lads had a karcher, it worked quite well and loved doing it, we then put a flyer out to all our customers, approx 800 back then and got a positive response, asked for advice on the general cleaning thread and brought Honda gx390 - 21litres per min 3000 psi machine and it went on from their, that was just about 2 years ago.

I remember testing it out at the in laws, wow the power nearly knocking me over, then I tried to pressure wash a garden ornament, the trench in the grass is still visible to this day

ive used the xline and i think its dung no scrubing power at all bit heavy to the supreme is mch beta i think beta splay to ide also use the sl over the xline to

I have one 16 inch bought at a show some time back its looks a nice brush, but does not splay very well at all. So does not seem to scrub. It bounces over the frames.

I guess they take normal  brush sockets? Ie. the screw width is standard?

What's the bristle material - all nylon?
Might give one a go - my normal weapon of choice isn't wearing too well.

Hi Dave, yes they take either a standard 90 deg socket, or we can supply a 45deg version.

It is possible to fit a quiclok adaptor if needed.

Which sill brush would you recommend on normal maintenaince cleaning & how much?

Im doing the sill brushes on special offer on here for £39.99 delivered for the mono sill version.

Mono has a bit more scrubbing power, flocked is designed to work well on leaded windows, so it wont get underneath or bounch of the lead. On the flocked version its just the bristles that hit the glass that have split ends.
Mono is probably more popular as a day to day brush, flocked if you have a fair amount of leaded windows.

I would tell James that but he's probably in bed by now!

Brush arrived today - looks nice. Changed the jet hose for some softer stuff so I can swivel with it. Tried a couple of windows this evening , seems to glide a little too easily perhaps? Going to give it a proper trial tomorrow.

used my mono yesterday, got fan jets which are a lot bigger than gardiners so couldnt change the jet hose, but it worked fine with my swivel
