are the  x line brushes the same weight as a gardiners supreme for example?

do they make an xtreme type of brush of a similar weight(but with better bristles?)

if yes then i will buy a couple to try out.

Haven't weighed mine. Looks very similar to the superlight but has a thinner stock. Stock is thinner than the Supreme too but probably a cm deeper so at a very rough guess it might sit between the two. Someone will weigh it.

I think your right Dave its around the same weight as the superlight so cant see it attracting many xtreme users.

Gardiners 225g

so similar weights on both websites unless you buy in 'Henrys' and would notice the difference 
Supa-lite sill £33.60
X-Line sill £46.20

Mebbe try one on my 18ft to see if it lasts longer or performs better during it's life.

I think 222g for the xline is a little optimistic, I think when I weighed mine without the socket it was more like 240-250g

Used the xline on Friday, it is noticeably heavier then the supreme brushes.
Also it doesn't splay as well as the supreme but does feel good on the glass.
When I first starting using the supreme medium hybrid it felt very springy, but after a week or 2 it softens out slightly and splays better,  hoping this brush will do the same.
Not sure if I prefer it over the medium mixed supreme just yet, needs a bit of time to be fully broken in.

I really like the mono brush - one of the best brushes I've used.

It is a good brush, im liking it more and more with each day of use.
It feels so well made, hasn't shed a single bristle yet.
Its like a vikan in terms of strength and cleaning power but with the weight of a superlite.
Thumbs up from me so far!

I have been using the xline mono and flocked brushes this week, previously I have always been using gardners super light mono and hybrid, in my view the xline wins hands down as fed up with Gardner brushes looking and feeling destroyed after a week or two. Ps I use hot water
