holidays
« on: July 07, 2015, 07:46:17 am »
so guys what do you do?

shut up shop for a week or two and carry on where you left off when you get back

let your workers carry on while your chilling out on a beach

ive just booked a 3k holiday to ibiza for 6 of us for a week for later in the year.its amazing when i tell my customers im going on holiday as some say WHAT?AGAIN? ::)roll

im hardly a jet setter?a week in portugal,a week in ibiza and a couple of weekends away and thats it for this year.the thing is some remember when i went to new york, porto santo, bulgaria etc even though these were spread out over a few years so assume im "always going on holiday" ::)roll

Why tell the customers anything ? just go relax and forget about window cleaning, you can pull it back when you return.
5 star Dazmond staying in two 4 star hotels in a row, something's not right with the universe. ;D

I think if I was on houses I would get all work upto date and run them late when I got back, commercial is different - jobs have set days so the work needs to be covered on time

I also booked a 3k holidays for 20th of this month..............

..... Only problem is am not goin as far to busy so the wife and two girls are treating the mother in law ( propa witch  ;D ) to a free holiday at my expense  :'(

Same boat. I'm sat outside Peterborough passport office trying to sort my daughters passport in time for a holiday on the 14th. If it doesn't get back in time I'm sending the rest of the family off without me, at my expense.

2 weeks in Greece in August and a good few long weekends during the year at a minimum.

I'll be buying a good camping set up for next year though as the kids will be of an age to appreciate it more, and holidaying in August is getting ridiculously expensive.

I've pretty much cleared my round from the 22nd of each month, so can plan holidays at the end of the month if I want to. Either that or take a load of extras on to earn some more pennies.

I know ur right dazmond but I have to bite the bullet, it's more a killer giving it to the mother in law...

big job in Manchester about to start any day am on site Thursday followed by another massive one in Liverpool and then another in London then back to Liverpool for another big one, all done before middle of August

all this on top of the already over flowing day to day work and I have a crapload of pressure washing to do when I finish all this.

I know mate ......... But it is what it is

I do appreciate the care you have shown for me  ;D ;D

Got my own passport but don't fancy leaving my 14 year old daughter at home to look after the house
