Cleaning Warehouse
« on: February 03, 2015, 01:14:16 pm »
Just a quick question; I've been looking at the 650L water tanks and purpose made frames from Cleaning Warehouse and wondered whether anyone on here has any experience with this company, especially the tanks and frames.

If so are they any good?

The total price of £534.99 including VAT appealed to me  :)

Any advice, or decent alternatives would be welcome.

Many thanks.

That price is for the tank and the frame; I thought that was pretty good; I was quoted over £1,000 by Varitech  :o

I would imagine he wouldn't be far away from the price you quoted tbh.

Would never ever drive a van with a wydale tank again. I do not miss the constant sloshing and ferry syndrome. Or the wobble on bends at speed haha.

I've bought one of their platinum complete wfp van systems which they're fitting it for me next week. I've been using them for a couple of years now they're very competitive too plus its only 10 miles from where I live which is a bonus!

Ok, cheers. I see it has the honey comb baffling. I'm with you on that, i always recommend that to anyone using a 600 litre IBC as its so easy to insert. And of course, sort of negates the extra wall strenght needed and provided by Wydale.

I am not a 100% sure, but i "think" thats how Grippa do it. I think they add the baffles. However the frame and installation is what sold me. The way the tank bolts to the frame is the clever bit.

OK mate, i always think the clever bit is when it doesn't rip out the floor and hit you on the back of the head whether it retains its integrity or not. But i'm ageeing with you on that, clever bit. I'm sold !!  ;D

Haha! The tank bolts onto the frames, then the frame bolts into the t locking plates. All very clever!

If i didnt have a grippa system, i would have a custom tank and............. thats what my next van will have. Custom tank made to the shape of the floor :)

Cleaning warehouse after sales r useless in my opinion . Had all sorts of problems with my system and the split relay has never worked . Lol when I bought a new ro membrane it turned out the first one had been fitted wrong . Pump box cuts out under 12volts and u can't over ride it so always charging batteries. Personally I wouldn't buy from them again.

i bought a 500L upright tank and frame for £400 from them and then got my local garage to fix it in through the van floor with spreader plates for £100.

so £500 for a brand new tank and frame fitted.bargain! :)

im very happy with it.

you dont have to spend a fortune. ;)
price higher/work harder!
