I just find it a rip off to charge double for the insides. I often do some customers insides for FREE.
The average 3 bed house, as long they've cleared all the sills I can go in and trad it all in less then 10 minutes.
If they want all the frames cleaned I will charge or if it's a fairly big house I will charge, normally just the same price as the outside.
I suppose it's because I know how quick I can trad that I can offer the odd freebie inside.
My first proper window cleaning job was working for a company where 2 of us had to trad around 40 houses a day, hated it but it made me damn quick.
That's like a builder being asked to build another wall. 'Yeah sure you provide the materials and I'll give you my labour free of charge because I've been a brickie for years and I'm super quick.'
I know it's exaggerating it a bit but the principle is the same - why do extra work free of charge? Baffling.
To me it's baffling that people can justify charging double, especially if there quick at it.
I have a very good relationship with my customers, I like to reward them now again for there loyalty. A free inside clean here and there goes along way to enhancing my reputation, that and always making sure I do a top notch job outside, and is why iv tripled my round size in 2 years without a website or handing out a single leaflet.
Modern business models annoy the hell out of me, reward new customers and price rises for existing customers.
I'm the opposite, I only reward my loyal customers.
