Why do guys put any sort of spotting down to TDS, Wayne you said it was bad spotting so that's your first clueyou wont get bad spotting with a TDS of 10ppm full stop. Its either something you have done like not put enough water on the glass to remove all the dirt or its weather related.I would say its weather related as the air will be full of crap with all the storms lately and landing on the wet glass.
I said 006 because my supplier recommended not letting it go over that. Im near 100% certain it was the tds reading because of the way the windows were spotting, it was literately small spots and run marks all over the glass. The reason i noticed is when i went in to do the insides all windows in shade were fine but when i went round to front windows with low sun (3.30pm) it showed up every last mark. Lesson learnt
I forgot to test product for a week and had no problems. Tested and found the TDS was 64. Some time later had severe spotting on a window in bright sunshine with a TDS of 5. From now on as soon as it hits 1 I change resin because the cost of resin is less than losing customer or reputation.

Gerard get yourself another D.I. bottle, changing resin that's taking the water down to 1ppm is nothing more than wasteful.Double D.I. is the only way to go if your changing resin at that sort of TDS level.
If the frames bleed then it will not matter how low your tds is.
