If you're not motivated enough to work for yourself and earn good money why would you be motivated to work for someone else?
always a chore first day back (for me) when had a great break whether self employed or not (work to live blah blah) ... but on a day to day basis for me there is a major difference between being motivated and just getting stuck in and doing what needs to be done (I fall into the latter)
I tend to see motivation as a long term thing e.g. being consistent in day to day working, being on time every month, working in rain / wind / snow, doing a quality job every time, being organised etc etc.
Like I said in OP my challenge / motivation this year is to have ALL regular windows done by mid month - every month
Im like a cross between a timex (takes a lickin but keeps on a tickin) and a Duracell bunny

I would have made a great soldier according to an old manager of mine Glenn Crease who was an ex RSM in the SBS - took it a compliment but he was a right git sometimes so may be an insult thinking back
