1st day back tomorrow
« on: January 04, 2015, 02:59:15 pm »
not worked since 22nd December so all totally refreshed but think will do half a day tomorrow to ease myself back in  :D as tbh not up for it but will just get out and do it ... worksheets printed, water filled so all systems go (just like Dazmond  ;D )

challenge this year is to have all window cleaning done by mid month to free up time for add ons / canvassing / pressure washing.

may even offer myself out as a canvasser ??

If you're not motivated enough to work for yourself and earn good money why would you be motivated to work for someone else?

Van filled, battery charged, worksheets done, spread sheet updated, white-board annotated with 'things to do', boots polished; we're good to go.

always a chore first day back (for me) when had a great break whether self employed or not (work to live blah blah) ... but on a day to day basis  for me there is a major difference between being motivated and just getting stuck in and doing what needs to be done (I fall into the latter)

I tend to see motivation as a long term thing e.g. being consistent in day to day working, being on time every month, working in rain / wind / snow, doing a quality job every time, being organised etc etc.

Like I said in OP my challenge / motivation this year is to have ALL regular windows done by mid month - every month

Im like a cross between a timex (takes a lickin but keeps on a tickin) and a Duracell bunny  ;D

I would have made a great soldier according to an old manager of mine Glenn Crease who was an ex RSM in the SBS - took it a compliment but he was a right git sometimes so may be an insult thinking back  ;D

ive been off since the 19th dec.so ive had a 16 day xmas holiday.its sure gone quick! ;D

ive got a fairly busy week scheduled.looking forward to getting back into it and burning off the excesses from eating too much food and lazing around!

lots of overdue 2 monthly jobs and some commercial away from my ultra compact run of the mill stuff so a varied week planned.

tank full,battery charged.clean,tidy van(inside and out),VISION in tank,new extreme pole.ready to roll! ;D
price higher/work harder!
