A similar pole to Gardiners but with a better clamp would get my custom, them smart clampshave to be the worst I have ever used.My everyday Gardiner 18 footer has the old clamps and they are a joy to use and still going strong after4 years.I'm dreading the day when I have to replace it.I have been using my 30 footer this week for fascia cleans and the new type clamps are a nightmare. When I first used them I thought they were faulty but my mate has a couple of new Gardiner poles and hisare the same. The thing is the Gardiner pole is very hard to beat in every other way so I would say there are a lot like myselfwho just put up with them.

You never need to tighten them and the pole sections never turn. Been using mine for a good 9 months now.

Whilst most users love the new Smart Clamps, I would be interested in you letting me know what it is about them that you do not like and to see if there is anything we can do to make your experience with them better. Can you drop me an email on alex@agardiner.co.uk and we can go from there?

Much better then the old version.
