What's the average life  span  expected out of these pumps? assuming using 5 days a week, not heavy use as I still trad some houses each day.

I had one 5 years,
Only changed it to a vyair one because it started to sound a bit rattley but still worked, was going to keep it as a spare but lent it never to be returned. The vyair one lasted about 2 years so bought another shurflo 2 years ago. money well spent.  :)

A pair at 5 years plus

A pair at 3 years

A pair at 6 month

All sound the same, all run perfectly

I bought mine second hand in a boot market for £3.

8 years on and still working although I'm hardly a 20+ houses a day type CIU window cleaner that earns £££££££'s a day week in and week out.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

A neighbour of mine who does something clever with RO systems for huge cruise ships (and knows his stuff) reckons these shurflo diaphragm pumps are designed to be worked hard.
